Paulo Preto is an accomplished Program and Project Director with over 25 years of international experience in finance transformation and enterprise technology. He currently leads cross-company ERP transformation initiatives, where he also plays a key role in delivery framework development and stakeholder engagement.
Paulo’s expertise spans SAP ECC to S/4 conversions, Rise with SAP migrations, Procure to Pay and Order to Cash optimization, stakeholder management at the CXO level, and global finance operations. He has successfully led deployments across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and JAPAC, and has held leadership roles in both consulting firms and multinational corporations.
His industry experience includes oil and gas, utilities, pharmaceuticals, construction, and manufacturing. Notably, Paulo has managed finance transformation and audit system implementations for oil and gas operations in Africa, including large-scale projects.
He is passionate about driving operational excellence, building high-performing teams, and delivering value through technology-enabled finance transformation. Paulo is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and conversant in French.
Paulo holds a degree in Business Management from Universidade de Évora and has completed executive programs at Harvard Business School and Universidade Católica Lisbon. He is also certified in project and program management, as well as SAP and finance automation platforms.
